bahamasferry.com is an independent comparison site for the ferry corridor between Florida and the Bahamas. The bookable core is small and concrete: two fast-ferry crossings from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, run by Balearia Caribbean - about 2 hours to Bimini and about 3 to Freeport on Grand Bahama. The site is published by Cruise Media GmbH.

The question this site answers is not "which ferry company" but "which crossing exists, where does it really leave, and does it sail on my date". Much of the search demand around this corridor points at things that do not exist - a ferry from Miami itself, a ferry to Nassau - and the honest answer, with the realistic alternative next to it, is half the value of these pages. Departures and fares render live from the booking feed rather than as copied tables; where a rule matters in practice, it is named, from the door-closing hour at Terminal 21 to the passport rule that applies even on a day trip.

bahamasferry.com is an independent guide to the crossings and not the website of Balearia Caribbean, and it is unrelated to Bahamas Ferries Ltd., the separate inter-island operator from Nassau. It is not a Bahamas travel guide either: resorts and beaches appear as context around the crossings, not as recommendations, and hotels, diving and tours belong elsewhere. The inter-island ferries are described for orientation and always point to their operator for current schedules. We do not sell tickets ourselves.
