What a Bahamas ferry ticket costs
Fares on both crossings are dynamic: the operator prices by season, sailing and demand, and the two fare families behave differently - flexible fares move and refund generously, basic and day-trip fares are cheaper but strict. That is why this page shows a live from-price per route in the cards above instead of a copied table that ages silently. The binding amount always appears in the booking step.
Two rules of thumb hold across the year. The Freeport crossing usually prices below the Bimini run, despite being the longer trip. And round-trip bookings around holidays, spring break and summer weekends price highest - if your dates are fixed, book early; the fare will not get cheaper by waiting.

The operator publishes fixed fees for what goes beyond the free allowance (checked 2026-09-01):

Each adult brings one carry-on free of charge (up to 26.5 lbs, max 22 x 18 x 10 inches) plus a small purse or backpack; travelling with an infant or child adds one more free piece. Strollers, baby food and medical equipment travel free. Coolers check in as extra luggage by size. Oversized gear must additionally be registered with U.S. Customs and Border Protection 24 hours before travel.
Changes and cancellations
Flexible (FLEX) tickets move to a new date free of charge up to 24 hours before departure - only a fare difference is charged - and refund on a ladder: full refund 7 or more days before sailing, half at 4 to 6 days, nothing within 72 hours. Basic, day-trip and promotional fares change dates against the fee in the table and follow stricter terms. No-shows are not refunded on any fare. Do children pay full fare?+
Children travel on their own ticket, chosen by age in the booking step, and every child needs a valid passport book or passport card of their own. The exact child fare shows live during booking.
